Note about “All Risks” Insurance

HMC can insure your goods on an all risks basis. However, the goods need to be part of a commercial transaction. If your goods are not part of a commercial transaction ( where money has changed hands or there is a business element involved ) then the goods are classed as personal effects.

SHIPPING PERSONAL EFFECTS - F.S.A. regulations prevent us from offering "all risks" insurance to personal shippers. However, we can offer you our enhanced liability scheme. Please ask us for more details about this option.

Our insurance covers begins at collection, whilst your "work" is being packed in our warehouse and during transit to the ultimate delivery point.

We hold an Open Marine Cargo policy with certain underwriters at LLoyd's. The largest insurance entity in the world.h HMC "book" the cover for you and collect the premium, the insurance is logged at the underwriters in your name, as displayed on our records here.

Please be aware that without our insurance there is no basic cover to rely on.
